About the Event
Dropkick return to The Blue Lamp ahead of their album release 'Primary Colours'
Support comes from the great Iona MacDonald of Doghouse Roses
Hailing from the east coast of Scotland, Dropkick have drawn on influences such as Wilco, The Jayhawks and Tom Petty to produce their own blend of harmony-driven, power-pop.
The new album, 'Primary Colours', will launch on 7th February!
'Those who have yet to latch onto them are surely missing something special....Indie, powerpop, accomplished harmonies, alt.country tendencies. What’s not to love?' The Herald newspaper (UK)
'Primary Colours', as a joint release with Bobo Integral Records (Spain) and Sound Asleep Records (Sweden) is Dropkick’s most accomplished and fully realised collection of songs to date, featuring ten new, concise, jangly guitar-orientated songs, showcasing their ear for melody and harmony.
