Almost Blue Promotions was set up in 2013 to bring country music gigs to Aberdeen.

We are named after the iconic Elvis Costello album of country music covers recorded in Nashville.

We look to book all types of Country Music from Alt Country, Americana, Bluegrass, Cajun, Folk, Rockabilly, Honky Tonk, Singer/Songwriter e.t.c

Almost Blue: The Album

Almost Blue is an album by Elvis Costello and the Attractions. It was recorded May 1981 in Nashville. The record's songs consist entirely of country covers, including works originally written by Hank Williams, Merle Haggard, George Jones and Gram Parsons. It originally appeared with a warning label that read:

"WARNING: This album contains country & western music and may cause offence to narrow minded listeners."
